NT: Nepal: In perspective of the mounting activity clog in the Kathmandu Valley, tippers, trucks and small trucks will be prohibited on the ring street region amid the peak hours from July 12.
Conclusion of meeting among the Metropolitan Police Division, Truck and Tipper Entrepreneurs’ Federation, and National Federation of Transport Entrepreneurs, Department of Transport Management and Tuesday released the statement to disallow the tippers and trucks from handling on the zone from 9:00 am to 11:00 pm and from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
Metropolitan Police Division Chief, Migmar Lama said that the trucks and tippers passing in the capital city from Sindhupalchwok, Kavrepalanchowk, Dolakha, Ramechhap, and Sindhuli locale would not be permitted passage at the office time, including that such choice was taken to check the movement blockage in Koteshwor region. After the Muglin-Narayangadh street, real entryway to capital city, stayed out of commission amid night, the movement blockage was developing at Koteshwor range. With this new plan set up, the region would see less movement.

So also, Chairman of Truck and Tipper Entrepreneurs’ Federation, Rajendra Kumar Shrestha, stated, “We’re prepared to quit working vehicles on the surge hours in the event that it is useful for movement administration.” The Federation said as the Kathmandu Valley needed parking areas, car influx was riotous.
