Kaski – As per the decision of the government to open the lockdown and allow Trekking company to bookings for foreign tourists from 30 July. After more than 4 months, the Trekking Agency Association of Nepal (TAAN) Western Regional Association has opened bookings for the trek from Thursday.

The booking has been opened with completing all the health-related protocols as per announcement of Government, informed Chairman of TAN Western Region Hari Bhujel. “We have opened bookings for September, October, and November with the hope it will be common from COVID-19 pandemic,” said Chairman Bhujel.

He said that online booking has been started because foreigners are interested in trekking will come this season. The winter season is considered to be the best time for trekking.

He added that while the lockdown was going on, many foreigners were worried about when the booking would be open. “We hope that many foreigners will come to Nepal this season for trekking.

With the spread of coronavirus worldwide, the government had banned Trekking authority from March. By using a Pokhara tourists reach Ghorepani, Ghandraruk, Dhampus, Chomrong, Sikles, Mardi Himal, Annapurna Base Camp, and Punhil.
