Kathmandu – Khum Bahadur Subedi, a candidate of the democratic group has been victorious under the chairmanship of the Trekking Agencies Association of Nepal (TAAN). Anjana Thapa (Kumar), the other candidate won by a margin of 83 votes in the election held at the Hotel Solti-Crown Plaza, along with TAAN’s 41st Annual General Meeting.

Other positions of the new executive committee have been mixed.

Co-Treasurer: – Mr. Surya Kumar Shrestha
Female Member: – Ms. Ngima Diki Sherpa

After winning this battle, Khum Subedi said that cooperation, coordination, and inter-support are major for better TAAN. I will be in this way.

After the election result Kumar Thapa said I extend my best wishes and congratulations to the 41st General Assembly of TAAN and to the President, Khum Bahadur Subedi and 10 other candidates, who are to be elected in the election, and to the 7 generals elected from our panel, and I have taken this victory as a victory on both sides. Due to the election is a democratic process, I have taken the defeat as a very natural process. From this election, I have learned to go ahead with a colleague.
