Saune Sankranti Starts Greenly Month
Kathmandu – The first day of the month of Saun in the Nepali calendar is marked as the Saune Sankranti. Nepalese culture or tradition Shrawan is the month of cleaning or removing the dirty thing. Nepalese are removing all dirty things of all-around their home and also saying in Nepalese culture remove all kind Disease like eczema (Luto) in holy month Shrawan.
The environment of the site has been more exciting also because of the Bolbam fair that began today. The Bolbam fair is observed especially on Mondays in the month of Saun. Devotees clad in yellow clothes have gathered here since Sunday to observe the fair.
The Bolbam fair is marked on all the five Mondays in the month of Saun. Hindu married women observe the fasting wishing for a long life of their husbands and family prosperity and happiness in the families. Similarly, unmarried women observe fasting wishing for a good life partner.
