Prince of Bahrain Successfully Scaled Mt. Lobuche
Kathmandu – Amid the Covid-19 pandemic, a team including the Prince of Bahrain has successfully climbed Lobuche Himal in Solukhumbu. This climb, which is being watched by the international community, can be taken as a new hope in tourism.
A team, including Prince Nasser bin Hamad Al Khali of Bahrain, climbed the 6,119-meter-high mountain at 8:50 am on Saturday. This climb is managed by the Seven Summit Trek company. This is their first ascent of the season. The Prince of Bahrain is accompanied by three British nationals. After Lobuche, they will go for climbing Manaslu Himal in Gorkha.
Tourists say that the safe climbing of the mountain has given more confidence and encouragement to Nepal at a time when the world’s tourism is standstill.
