Preparations for ‘Visit Kailali Year, 2075’ scheduled to begin on May 5

 

Preparations for ‘Visit Kailali Year,2075’ scheduled to begin on May 5 have entered the final stage, according to the organisers.

The visit year will be accompanied by the slogan “Conservation and promotion of the tourism region, basis of development of Kailali district”. The preparation initiatives are undertaken by the Kailali District Coordination Committee.

Cordinator of committee, Surya Bahadur Thapa said that the preparations have reached the final leg and he further urged everyone to make the Kailai Visit Year, 2075 a grand success.

The municipality has formed a central committee led by the Mayor while the 13 local levels of the district have formed their own committees and sub-committees to make the event a success. Organisers have invited Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli to inaugurate the visit year introductory event, which will begin from Chisapani in Karnali of the district.

Speaker of the Federal Parliament, Chairperson of the National Assembly, Ministers of the Federal Government, State Head, Chief Minister, State Ministers, Members of Federal and Provincial Assemblies have been sent invitation for the inaugural event, according to Chief of Lamkichuha Municipality Chief, Mahadev Bajgain.

Activities that will boost tourism in the district will be carried throughout the year. Major tourist attractions of Kailai – Karnali Bridge, Chisapani, Tikapur Park, Ghodaghodi Lake, Dolphin area in Mohana, Rajkanda Area, Godavari, among others, will be promoted.

It is expected that the visit year will foster domestic as well as foreign tourists in the area.
