Kathmandu – Kamal Thapa, former deputy prime minister was detained by Police on Monday after interfering in a demonstration led by him.

Thapa led Rashtriya Prajatantra Party had launched a protest program at Padmodaya Mode, outside Singhadarbar, the central administrative complex, demanding the Hindu state is reinstated.
Along with him, police have also detained former ministers Buddhiman Tamang and Deepak Bohora.
