Nirmal Nims Purja Scales Nanga Parbat, his Seventh 8000er
Kathmandu – The 35-year-old climber Nirmal ‘Nims’ Purja has successfully climbed Nanga Parbat, the world’s ninth highest mountain in the westernmost part of the Himalayan range. Nirmal, who is on his mission to complete all 14 peaks above 8,000m in just seven months.
After stood atop Nanga Parbat 8,126-metre peak in Pakistan, he reached seventh of 14 mountains, on July 3.
He first scaled Mt Annapurna on April 23.
