Kathmandu – Minister of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Rabindra Adhikari said that the Nijgadh International Airport has its most important development project.
He said that there is not only a plan for the National Pride of the Nation but because of ‘Game Changer’ for the development of Nepal, he has claimed that even if there is no disruption of serious nature.
He said that Bhairahawa and Pokhara International Airport, Nijgardh Airport could not be the option of the Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu. The Minister expressed these views in the development debate on the current necessity and justification of ‘Nijgardh International Airport’ organized by Nepal Engineers’ Association in Tripureshwor on Friday.
“If the work of Bhairahawa and Pokhara Airport has been run smoothly but Nijgardh Airport has not been able to progress in the construction,” Adhikari said. The information was expected to fly commercially on Sept. 9, 201, at Bhairahawa International Airport, and commercial flight from Sept. and Pokhara International Airport would be expected to fly commercially from 2021.
It is serious questions about the government and the people, why not this airport couldn’t construct “said Adhikari. Adhikari said that the construction of Nijigadh Airport could not move forward due to the barrier for cutting the tree on environmental impact.
