New Lake Kejin Sara Found in Highest Place of World – Nepalayatimes
Manang – Another new lake has been found in the highest place in the world. It is named Kejin Sara Lake. This lake has placed on Google information, which placed in the Chame Rural Municipality, the headquarters of Manang district. The lake has found at Lamjung Himal Base Camp, 5 Thousand and 2 Meters above sea level, which seems to cover an area of 3 square kilometers.
It has found while Chame Rural Municipality was conducting a tourist nature conservation campaign with targeting Internal Visit Year 2020. According to Chairman of Rural Municipality, Lokendra Bahadur Ghale, it was not known because of how much height was there and how much area was covered even though the lake had already been found. Chairman Ghale said that after measuring with the help of Rural Municipality, Manang district administration and Annapurna Conservation Area on July 21, it received authorization. A joint team of Nepal Police, Armed Police Force, Nepalese Army, Annapurna Conservation Area, and the Rural Municipality have reached the area and conducted a search, said DSP Nilakmal Acharya of the Armed Police Force. According to him, it will take about two days to get to this place. He said there was a problem with the management of lodging and Feeding. It is estimated that there will be more than 4 Thousand lakes in Manang district. The Highest place located lake is Tilicho to date. It is located at a height of 4,919 meters above sea level in the Annapurna area of Manang district.
