Nepal Tourism Promotion in China
Nepal Tourism Board has promoted Nepal in China. NTB has collaborated with China’s biggest taxi network DiDi for a Consumer Focus Campaign. The Campaign which started 5th August with the message “Celebrate Love in Nepal” following the “Chinese Valentine’s Day” which is on 7th August.
The Campaign will continue with the message “Smile in Mid-Summer” there rafter. The Campaign will run through this month in Shanghai and Jhangshou region. The promotion of the Campaign is done both digitally through DiDi’s We-Chat, Weibo and website which will reach 2 Million Social Media users, 60 million SMS and Push-Notification covering 60 million users, said Deepak Raj Joshi, CEO of NTB.
The offline promotion is being done at popular commercial areas like Yunfu CBD and Baolong CBD.
This is the first time Nepal Tourism Board collaborated with a big Consumer Brand in China for Tourism Promotion; it helps for the goal of Visit Nepal Year 2020 to reach 2 million international tourists said Shradha Shrestha, Brand Manager of NTB.
