Nepal asks for India to expel unlawful structures from Lalita Ghat

NT: Nepal: Nepal has raised with India the matter about wrongfully developed structures inside the Lalita Ghat premises in Varanasi and asked for mediation to expel such developments.


It might be noticed that Lalita Ghat premises is a Nepali property in Varanasi that incorporate recorded landmarks constructed somewhere in the range of 200 years before in Nepali style.


The matter was raised by Nepali Ambassador to India Deep Kumar Upadhyay in a meeting with Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Shri Yogi Adityanath in Lucknow prior today, as per an announcement issued by the Nepali Embassy in New Delhi.

On the event Chief Minister Yogi guaranteed to help in settling the matter.


Matters identifying with different parts of Nepal-India relations including society, tourism, fringe foundation and availability, outskirt organization, immersion and water administration, among others were examined amid the meeting.
