Gorkha – Near about 200 Students are searching their future under the damaged Building.

Bhimodaya Multiple Campus, Aarughat Gorkha is running with cracked building. Campus has a 185 students. After that Earthquake 2015, there is no any aid and government also be silent to reconstruction of college building.

 

Lack of fund, Campus Administration, can’t build new buildings. While our team reached there, students were studying, inside this building and Administration also run on.

 

Thousands of schools were damaged or destroyed by the 7.8 earthquake on April 25 and the destruction has caused the closure of all Nepalese state-run and private schools for the next two weeks at least as the immediate crisis is dealt with.

More than 16,000 public and private schools – about half of the country’s total – have been damaged, according to UN OCHA (United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs) Asia and the Pacific.

 

The horrific effects of the Nepal earthquake are being dealt with on an hour-by-hour basis. It will also have devastating long-term consequences for its education system.
