MoCTCA Allows 67 Flights to Rescue Nepalese Living Abroad
The Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation has allowed 67 flights to bring Nepalese stranded in abroad.
The ministry has given permission to Nepal Airlines, Himalaya Airlines, and foreign airlines to bring Nepalese from different countries within 14 days from Thursday. There will be 24 flights from Nepal Airlines, 19 from the Himalaya, and 24 from foreign airlines to bring Nepalese living abroad.
According to the list made public by the Ministry, Nepalese stranded in Australia, Japan, Cyprus, Bangladesh, Maldives, Saudi Arabia, Thailand, Kuala Lumpur, South Korea, and other countries will be rescued. The ministry has also announced the fare for the flight.
The government has already announced to bring people who have lost their jobs abroad due to Coronavirus (Covid-19), are living in difficulties, and want to come to Nepal. Accordingly, the ministry has given permission to various airlines.
