Kathmandu – KP Sharma Oli and Pushpa Kamal Dahal are meeting at the Prime Minister’s Residence, Baluwatar to finalize ministries for Maoist Center.
Following a seven point agreement between CPN UML and Maoist Center, the latter had decided to join the Oli led government. As a result of delay in party merger, Maoist Center had not sent its ministers during the swearing in ceremony of KP Oli as the country’s 38th prime minister last week.
If all goes well, the Oli-Dahal meeting will agree on ministries for both parties. This will help the government to have a full cabinet of ministers by today. The Maoist Center will be sending two of its leaders as ministers.
Following the chairpersons’ meeting, each will hold inter party meeting to finalize potential ministers to join the government, a source said.
PM Oli plans to administer the oath of office and secrecy to Maoist Center ministers by today.
