The Karnali Rafting Jambori-2019 will be organized in the longest river of Nepal, Karnali. The program is going to be organized by district coordination committee Kailali. With the main slogan “Our Nepal, Our Karnali, Our culture, Our tourism Welcome to all”, This program will be inaugurated by Prime Minister K.P. Sharma Oli on 9 March. Surya Bahadur Thapa, Chief of District Coordination Committee, Kailali informed.
He said that this program was organized with the objective of providing the benefit to local communities through the tourism development of Karnali Province and 5 number Province along the Far-Western region. He said that there is a good chance of rafting in Karnali river, but its promotion has not been properly. So, we have organized this program to highlight the tourism sector here. “
He said that there is natural diversity, multicultural, geographical environment, and beauty of Nepal’s recognize in the world community, so we should be promoting it. Thapa said that Karnali Rafting Jambori-2019 was ready to be ‘World Record of Guinnies Book’ at the same time, with more than 111 rafting riders in rafting.
He emphasized that Nepal should also be known as the name ofrifering, known as Sagarmatha and Gautam Buddha. He also informed that preparations were being made for the program to be grandly successful. It is expected to organize tourism promotion of the entire country by entering internal and external tourists.
The District Coordination Committee, which was celebratingKailali Visit Year 2075, had been doing various programs in rafting in Chisapani, Dolfine festival, the various program in Rural municipalities andmunicipalities. For the completion of the Visit Year at the end of the Visit Year, along with the purpose of closing the program for sustainable tourism development, the great rafting festival is being organized in the long distance of 25 km to 25 km long from Mohanyal Rural municipality ward No. 7 to Chisapaniof Karnali river. The program will be held for at least five days, according to the organizer.
