Nepalayatimes/Eight Nepali climbers Record Season’s First Summit of Mt Everest
Eight Nepali climbers successfully fixed the climbing ropes from the South Col to the summit point on Mount Everest.
A team of experienced mountaineering guides successfully reached the top of the world opening a climbing route to the summit of Mt Everest, who became the season’s first team to scale Mt Everest at around 1:45 pm on 14th May 2019.
According to press statement of Ministry of Culture, Tourism & Civil Aviation, Department of Tourism, Mountaineering section, a highly experienced rope-fixing high-altitude climbers, include Siddhi Bahadur Tamang, Pasdawa Sherpa, Dorji Gyaljen Sherpa, and Pasang Dawa Sherpa, Ang Phurba Sherpa, Dawa Nurbu Sherpa, Ming Dorchi Sherpa, and Sangbu Bhote stood atop Mt Everest.
According to the Department of Tourism, over 378 climbers have obtained climbing permits for Mt Everest this spring season.
