NT: Nepal: The Department of Passport under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has turned into the primary government organization to be licensed with the ISO benchmarks. The International Organization for Standarization has licensed the Department with the ISO 9001: 2015 declaration for having the capacity to keep up universal gauges in the arrangement, confirmation and circulation of travel permits.
Disclosing the ‘ISO 9001:2015’ declaration at a program held at the Department on Sunday, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs Krishna Bahadur Mahara said it involved pride that the Department was the primary government organization to be regarded with the ISO affirmation.
Expressing that the confirmation was a consequence of the commitment, productivity and consciousness of value administration of the office representatives, DPM Mahara guided the workers to work with an objective to keep up the accomplishment, and achieve higher objectives. “Many difficulties are yet to be routed to understand the administration’s arrangement of issuing e-visas,” he said.
